About Me

I understand the nature of stress & resilience both personally and professionally

I have my own stress-to-success story and have helped thousands of founders, leaders & high-achievers find stress relief & build the life they want without burnout.

I truly believe that learning to de-activate chronic stress (regulating) is the key to solving all the world’s problems. When we are regulated, we have access to our rational brain, we have empathy and compassion, we feel connected and we see possibility. We operate our lives with more balance and can achieve success without sacrificing our wellness. 

I have spent the last 24 years studying psychology, neuroscience, business, leadership, personal development, communication skills, stress management, mindfulness, trauma therapy & so much more. I have had the opportunity to apply these learnings directly through coaching individuals, groups, and organizations worldwide. I have learned what works and what doesn’t and crafted my programs to streamline success. I can quickly and effectively help you reduce stress, achieve wellness, and find your optimal performance.

What makes my coaching unique?

Stress is a biological response, not a conscious response

—> You can’t control your stress responses. They are unconscious & automatic systems and part of your evolutionary biology. To truly “manage” stress, you have to work with your body & biology, not against it. My coaching tools work with both your body & mind. They focus on tapping into your biological systems, regulating your nervous system & restoring your energetic systems. The education I offer through my private podcast gives you the knowledge of how these systems work & a toolkit to access anytime you need it.

You already have everything you need inside of you, you just have to learn to use it

—> You have an innate system to activate stress and an innate system to deactivate stress. You don’t have to learn complicated practices or force yourself to do something that just doesn’t feel right to you. There are simple tools to deactivate stress that take seconds or minutes. You will also realize that you have an untapped well of motivation, desire, energy, and purpose inside of you hidden under stress patterns that deplete and exhaust you. I am here to help you remove what is in the way of your infinite internal resources.

The goal is NOT to be stress-free but to have the capacity to put the “brake” on stress

—> Stress is a natural part of life. Stress can be good in the short term pushing your body & mind to optimal performance. Stress ensures resilience. Where stress becomes a problem is in the medium to long term, when you are unable to put a “brake” on your stress patterns to relax and regulate. Our work together is not about creating a stress-free life because stress is just a part of life. But I want to arm you with the tools that will allow you to put a “brake” on your stress when you reach your stress threshold. When you can re-set your accumulation of stress, you will prevent burnout & experience a more fulfilling, healthy, and balanced life.

Stress impacts every part of your life & every part of your life affects your stress threshold

—> Stress cannot be compartmentalized no matter how much you try. You accumulate stress from every area of your life: work, home, relationships, finances, health and so much more. It also affects every area of your life. Stress impacts your physical, emotional, mental & spiritual health. It has negative effects on your relationships. It affects your productivity, focus & clarity. It can show up as anxiety or depression. I am experienced working with all of these areas to uncover stress patterns, get to the root cause of your stress, and help you manage your stress in a way that supports your whole life.

Transformation begins with small steps & micro-practices NOT massive systems of change

—> I am a big believer in micro-movements. I am not here to deconstruct your life, or to encourage you to leave relationships or quit your job. You may decide to make big changes, but my job is to help you make small moves that have a big impact. Most of my clients have big lives and can’t spend hours and hours invested in change. I make important education practical by making it accessible through a private podcast. I teach you tools that can be used in seconds or minutes, not hours. I work with you to build micro-practices that can fit into your schedule and circumstances. Change starts with small steps.
