You have been buried

But It's time to resurface.

This is where your true self gets to take the lead.

For women in business and leadership

Working in the business arena has a hefty cost to our energy and aliveness. It can show up as exhaustion, disconnection, dissatisfaction, or the growing sense that the life we have built no longer fits.

These are not signs that something is wrong with us. They are often the predictable result of years of adapting, performing, carrying too much, and learning to override our truth. We have learned to move away from what is true in order to belong, succeed, or just keep things moving.

But underneath it all, who we are and what we want is still there.

This work is not about becoming someone new. It is about removing what has buried our true selves in the first place. And once we stop adapting ourselves to fit our lives, our lives often have to change to fit who we really are.

That is where the work becomes practical.

We learn to regulate enough to stay present with what is true and reclaim the parts of ourselves we have pushed aside. Then we make the decisions and changes that allow us to live and work more honestly. We make those changes at a pace our nervous system can actually sustain.

This is the work of resurfacing that I have been doing with women for two decades.

You’ve been buried

It’s time to resurface.
This is where your true self gets to take the lead.

Working in the business arena can take a hefty toll on our energy and aliveness. Over time, we learn to adapt, perform, carry too much, and move away from what is true in order to belong, succeed, or simply keep things moving.

But underneath it all, who we are and what we want is still there.

This work is not about becoming someone new. It is about removing what has buried our true selves and learning to live more honestly from what we find.

And once we stop adapting ourselves to fit our lives, our lives often have to change to fit who we really are. That is where the work becomes practical.

We regulate, reclaim what has been pushed aside, and make the decisions and changes that allow our life and work to reflect who we really are, at a pace our nervous system can sustain.

This is the work of resurfacing.

The path to resurfacing

How this work unfolds

This work moves in a sequence. Not because change is linear, but because each stage creates the conditions the next one requires. I share the map. You do the resurfacing. And we move through it together, at the pace your nervous system can actually sustain.

Regulate

The foundation everything stands on

When the nervous system feels safe, something shifts. Thinking clears. Feelings become information rather than noise. The capacity to hear yourself, your true self, returns. Regulation is not about becoming calm. It is about becoming available to your own experience again. This is where we always begin.

Reconnect

Finding your way back to yourself

Underneath the adaptation, the performance, the years of navigating a world that needed you smaller, something real has been waiting. Reconnection is the process of finding it. Your intuition. Your desires. Your natural rhythm. The knowing that was always yours before the world began to require something else of you. You were never as lost as you felt.

Reclaim

Taking back what was always yours

Knowing yourself is one thing. Living from that knowing in the world is another. Reclamation is where the inner work meets real life: your voice, your boundaries, your power, the space that is finally yours. Not as a performance of confidence. As a natural expression of knowing who you are. This is where everything starts to shift.

Redesign

Building a life that actually fits

Once you know who you are and have begun to live from that ground, the structures around you need to catch up. Your work, your relationships, your daily rhythms, redesigned around your nature rather than the adapted version of you. Not a perfect life. A real one, and yours. From here, you build differently.

Rise

Not a destination. An orientation.

Rise is what becomes possible when the other four have done their work. Not the performance of success or the pursuit of external validation. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the world, from your own knowing, your own values, your own direction. This is what it feels like to finally be free.

A powerful path back to yourself, one day at a time.

Hello!  I  am Sonya

Ten thousand hours of coaching sit behind this work, alongside two decades spent building the spaces, retreats, and containers that hold what most rooms can’t. This isn’t theory. It’s built from experience, tested and refined across thousands of real conversations.

I was born in New York, raised in Texas, and now I live on the coast of South Australia. I’ve traveled the world and worked with women across many countries and circumstances, and that breadth shapes how I hold every client who sits across from me.

I’m a depth-oriented introvert who comes alive in the exact moment someone sees a truth about themselves they’ve never quite been able to see clearly before. What I notice is the pattern underneath the story, the nervous system underneath the behaviour, and the self that was always there underneath the layers. That’s the only way I know how to work.

I built this work by living it first. What I survived became what I understand, and that understanding sharpened into precision across every client, every room, every group, for more than twenty years.
