Steps to stress relief & optimal performance

Step 1: Resourcing – We assess your current circumstances, resources & practices to immediately expand your time and energy. You also get access to a toolkit for instant stress relief.

Step 2: Reorienting – You deactivate stress through your body, not just your mind. I will help you reorient your habits to effectively use your innate biological systems that activate and deactivate stress. 

Step 3: Unraveling – For long-term transformation, you need to unravel your chronic stress patterns. Together we will dive into your history & habits to get to the roots of your stress. 

Step 4: Reshaping – Once we uncover your chronic stress patterns, you can reshape your nervous system, choices & actions to align with your optimal performance & well-being. 

Step 5: Embodying – Establishing micro-practices is key to success. I help you implement & adjust practices to fit your goals & objectives. We expand what works & remove what doesn’t.

~ Frequently Asked Questions  about my stress management coaching programs~
Can we start with one or two sessions? What if I want to try it out before I invest in a bigger commitment?

🌿 I invest a lot of time in the discovery process & in setting up your private podcast to get the most from our sessions together. One or two sessions are not good value for you or me. I offer an intro call (see the form below) so you can get all your questions answered and get a feel for who I am. If you aren’t sure about working with me after that, no problem, you can get on my email list, listen to a few podcasts, or follow me on Linkedin to get to know me better.

How do I determine which of your coaching programs is right for me?

🌿 If you do an intro call (see the form below), I will help you determine this. In general, I recommend the 3-month program for people who need immediate support & stress relief and aren’t ready for a 12-month commitment. The 12-month program is optimal & will give you the best results & value – it is life-changing. It will change not only your experience with stress, but it will re-direct your life, improve your relationships, optimize your energy & performance, enhance your work, and so much more. The 2-day intensive is for people who are dealing with a specific issue and want to tackle it within a short time frame, rather than work on it over 3-12 months. In the intensive, as well as in both longer programs, you get a private podcast and tools to use for one year after our intensive is complete.

How do your sessions work?

🌿 Every session is unique to you and customized for what you need and are working towards. Sessions normally run for 60 minutes, except for the virtual retreat or intensives which run for 4 hours (with breaks).

During a session, we will always start with establishing safety. This is done with grounding exercises, a check-in, and permission from you of where you feel resourced to go that day. Then we will work with a mixture of coaching & mind/body tools. At the end of the session, we will look at integration work for in-between sessions, and establish a practice before we meet again.  

After the session (within 48 hours), you will have the replay, next steps & any tools we discussed uploaded to your private podcast.

What exactly is a private podcast & why do you use it?

🌿 A private podcast is just like the normal podcasts you listen to, but made just for you. No one else can access your private podcast. You can play it from most popular podcast apps like Apple Podcasts or Spotify. It is a beautiful space to store all of the things we are working on and it is portable and easy to access. You can bring it to coffee shops or on your morning run, and listen while you are driving or getting tasks done around the house. I have been using private podcasts with clients for years and since using them, I have seen a huge difference in the results my clients get through their programs. Do you want accelerated results? Then you want one of my private podcasts. This is also why I can get better results for my clients with less time in session.  ;D

How do your maintenance packages work?

🌿 I offer maintenance packages to most of my clients after they complete a program. We can continue at the same pace (avg. 2 sessions a month) or go down to 1 session a month. Some of my clients feel complete after the program, others want to continue working with me and some come back and do another program later. At the end of your program, we will assess what is ideal for you.

How much time do I have to invest in the program every week?

🌿 In general, you will get a lot from the program by investing 2 hours a week. I make everything very manageable with micro-practices and exercises, but the more you invest and the more you practice, the more results you will get. We will explore the right pace for you at the beginning of the program. I also have designed my program to assess at the beginning how to expand your time & energy immediately. I will help you carve out the time you need to get the results you want. 

What is your cancellation and/or no-show policy? What if I need to pause my program?

🌿 In general, there are no refunds or options for canceling a program once you have started. I take minimal 1:1 clients and your commitment to a spot means I had to let someone else go.

If you have extreme circumstances, please reach out to me. Any exceptions to this policy are at the full discretion of me (Sonya Stattmann). 

The first monthly payment secures your spot, and should you change your mind BEFORE our first session, your first payment will not be refunded, but you will be released from the contract. 

I ask for 48 hours’ notice to re-schedule a session, but of course, there are extenuating circumstances I accept. If you are a complete no-show for our scheduled session, you will lose your session. 

What if I have trauma, mental health challenges or a chronic illness, can you still work with me?

🌿 It depends. I am trauma-informed so I can work with individuals who have past trauma. It depends on the severity of the trauma and how much you are experiencing it right now. 

I don’t diagnose or work specifically with mental disorders – this is the role of a therapist. I can partner with your therapist depending on what you are dealing with. I can also work with people who are high-functioning but have still been diagnosed with things like ADHD or anxiety disorders

If you are on anti-depressants or other pharmacological treatments that alter your brain chemistry and nervous system, or you regularly use recreational drugs, I would need to know what you are doing and taking, and how it is affecting you, so I can determine if I am the right coach for you.

I have worked with people with chronic health problems, like chronic fatigue & auto-immune diseases that have impacted their lives, but to work with me, you would need to be able to show up for our sessions and dedicate some time to the homework in between.

How do I get started?

🌿 I like to work with clients who feel a “Yes!” to the question of whether they want to work with me. If you resonate with me but still have questions, you can either book a call using the form below or send me a message (just click on the video bubble in the lower right corner of this page).

In an intro call, we can determine if I am a good fit for you and if you are a good fit for one of my programs.   

If you already know that you want to work with me, it is still ideal to have a call to be sure we are a good fit. So fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Once you say yes, we will start the onboarding process. I will get you my contract, invoice & scheduling link so you can book your first session. A week before your session, you will receive your private podcast so you can start preparing for our first session. It is a pretty smooth process, and before you know it, you will be experiencing results.
